Priorities for Hayward Schools
My desire to serve on the board is motivated by my eagerness to improve Hayward schools to the point where they attract students and families to our district and our community. Most importantly, it is motivated by my enthusiasm for leaving the world a better place for our children.
These are my priorities:
Supporting our students and teachers as we recover from the impacts of the pandemic on academic achievement and social emotional development
Early Childhood Education
High quality preschool is essential for promoting long-term positive outcomes for students.

Safe, Welcoming Schools
Schools are the #1 reason that brings families to a community. It is also the #1 reason why families might choose to leave a community. My mission is to make sure that Hayward Schools are the best they can be for all families. We can not have a thriving community without thriving schools.
Strong School-Family Connections
Involved parents and family members who are knowledgeable about how the district works, who are ready and willing to partner with the district on decision making. The board needs to hear what families need!
A Balanced Budget for Kids and Classrooms
A sustainable, balanced budget, informed thoughtfully by community input, is critical to serve students and families well. I will work for a sustainable budget that puts students, teachers, and classrooms at the center.
